Rida
"Rida is to accept Allah's will and to be pleased with Him."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Rida is defined in Sufism as a state of complete submission and contentment towards Allah. For Muslims, rida begins with accepting Allah's choices in every aspect of life. This state brings peace to the individual's life while also providing spiritual satisfaction. In Sufism, reaching the station of rida requires the individual to discipline their ego and turn towards Allah. Rida facilitates the spiritual journey of individuals; thus, a person can more easily overcome the challenges they face. Rida is one of the fundamental principles of Islam and also expresses the spiritual responsibilities of individuals.
