Brotherhood

Brotherhood is a concept in Islamic thought that deeply expresses the feeling of fraternity. Islam aims to strengthen the bonds between individuals and to ensure that society lives in peace as a whole. Brotherhood encompasses not only a sense of belonging but also solidarity, mutual assistance, and loving relationships. The Quran emphasizes the importance of this brotherly bond with the phrase, 'Allah unites them in your hearts with love.' (Al-Anfal, 63). Brotherhood encourages Muslims to fulfill their social responsibilities and to extend a helping hand to those in need. In this context, many Islamic thinkers throughout history have articulated the role and importance of brotherhood in society.
