Taqwa
"Taqwa means to act with the awareness of responsibility towards Allah and to refrain from disobedience to Him."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Taqwa is an important virtue in Islam and expresses an individual's respect for Allah. A person who believes that Allah is observing His servants at all times is expected to live with the consciousness of taqwa. In the Qur'an, those who possess taqwa are promised special rewards by Allah. Taqwa encompasses not only abstaining from bad deeds but also performing good actions. The levels of taqwa of individuals are directly related to the depth of their faith. Additionally, taqwa is considered one of the characteristics of those who are friends of Allah, and true taqwa should be demonstrated not only through external attitudes but also with inner sincerity.
