Sahih means reliable and correct information in Islam. Especially in the sciences of hadith, Sahih hadiths are of great importance for the accurate transmission of the words and actions of our Prophet. Sahih hadiths contribute to the correct teaching and application of religious knowledge in society. Islamic scholars have developed various criteria to determine whether hadiths are Sahih or not. These criteria include the reliability of the chain of narration and the accuracy of the text. The term Sahih is generally an important reference point guiding Muslims in acquiring religious knowledge. Thus, the religious beliefs of communities acting with authentic information are strengthened.
