Patience
"Patience is the state of being steadfast and remaining patient in the face of difficulties."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Patience is considered an important virtue in Islam and Sufism. Resilience against difficult circumstances is the essence of patience. A person can achieve spiritual maturity by learning to remain steadfast against the troubles, mistakes, or losses encountered in life. In Sufism, patience serves as a means for a person to resist the desires and wishes of their ego and to stay away from worldly pleasures. Patience is also necessary to live in accordance with Allah's commands and to maintain one's devotion to Him. The state of mind of the patient person enables them to escape traps with the relief that comes after difficulties. Therefore, patience is not only a path to gaining Allah's love but also a way to attain spiritual tranquility.
