Hypocrisy
"Hypocrisy means creating a contradiction between belief and reality by acting duplicitously."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Hypocrisy is a term that expresses duplicity. This concept describes a person who behaves like a Muslim outwardly while harboring doubts or disbelief in their faith internally. Islam absolutely rejects hypocrisy, and this attitude can lead to dangerous consequences for both the individual and society. In Sufism, hypocrisy is considered one of the greatest dangers that need to be cleansed from the heart. Those engaged in Sufism should question the sincerity of their intentions and actions to achieve inner peace. Hypocrisy poses a spiritual barrier for the individual and weakens their bond with Allah.
