I'tikaf
"I'tikaf is the act of staying alone in the mosque for a certain period for the purpose of worship. It enables a person to achieve spiritual depth."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
I'tikaf is a practice in Islam where one stays in the mosque for a certain period to worship and detach from the world. It is generally preferred during the month of Ramadan, but it can also be performed at other times of the year. During the period of i'tikaf, a person turns away from daily life and focuses solely on worship and contemplation. This process allows the individual to achieve spiritual depth and feel closer to Allah. I'tikaf is a form of worship derived from the Qur'an and Sunnah. Muslims who perform this act spiritually renew themselves while also strengthening their connection to Allah.
