Isar

Isar means placing others' interests before one's own in Islam, and this virtue enables individuals to act with social consciousness. This value is often praised in the Qur'an and hadiths. In particular, the expression 'Do not do to others what you would not want done to yourself' reinforces this understanding. The assistance provided by the Ansar to the Muhajirun who migrated to Medina is one of the finest examples of Isar.
