Ikhlas expresses essence and sincerity in the consciousness of servitude in Islam and Sufism. In Sufism, Ikhlas, which forms the spirit of worship, symbolizes the harmony between a person's heart and their actions. Turning sincerely towards Allah and worshiping only Him is the foundation of Ikhlas. Worship performed with Ikhlas holds great importance in terms of drawing closer to Allah and gaining His pleasure. When a person worships with a completely sincere heart, free from all impulsive thoughts, they begin with Ikhlas. Those who pay attention to Ikhlas in their religious life also attain Allah's mercy and blessings. In this context, it is considered a persuasive moral and behavioral norm by the people of Sufism.
