Ikhlas
"Ikhlas is the sincere intention and essence in an action or worship. In Islam, it expresses that every deed should be done solely for the pleasure of Allah."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Ikhlas, in Islamic terminology, is the expression of turning towards Allah and dedicating all deeds to Him. In Sufism, Ikhlas is considered as the heart's orientation solely towards Allah, excluding all other intentions. A person with Ikhlas performs their deeds only for the pleasure of Allah, thereby gaining spiritual depth. During Sufi training, guides often emphasize Ikhlas because the simplicity in the heart has impressive results in terms of closeness to Allah and obedience. When combined with other virtues, Ikhlas prepares a strong foundation for a believer's spiritual journey.
