Ghayb
"Ghayb is the world of unseen beings and situations that people do not know."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
According to Islamic belief, ghayb refers to beings that are unknown, unseen, and imperceptible to humans. This term encompasses both spiritual dimensions and events that will occur in the future. The most important aspect of ghayb is that it is under the knowledge of Allah. In the Qur'an, knowledge of ghayb is defined as exclusive to Allah, and believing in this is considered one of the tenets of faith for believers. Muslims do not accept the claims of those who assert knowledge of ghayb and only acknowledge that Allah is the one who knows the unseen. The concept of ghayb also carries a deep meaning in Sufism; an individual may develop various mystical methods to open up to the realm of ghayb in their spiritual journey.
