Repentance
"Repentance is the act of turning to Allah and seeking forgiveness with remorse for the sins committed."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Repentance is the act of acknowledging one's sins and seeking forgiveness from Allah in the Islamic faith. Repentance consists of two stages: the first is feeling genuine remorse for the sins; the second is expressing this remorse by turning to Allah. Repentance is a refuge in Allah's mercy and an internal purification process. Throughout Islamic history, Muslims have demonstrated this will for the forgiveness of sins. This act is also vital for the individual's spiritual development. Repentance not only forgives sins but also provides an opportunity for the individual to correct their character.
