"The Surah Az-Zumar, being the 39th chapter of the Holy Quran, carries significant messages regarding faith and servitude. It delves deeply into themes of turning towards Allah, repentance, and forgiveness. This Surah particularly provides solace to hearts during times of hardship and offers spiritual tranquility. Muslims aim to purify their hearts by frequently reciting Surah Az-Zumar, seeking refuge in Allah's mercy and forgiveness. Recommended times for its recitation include Fridays and moments when prayers are accepted. While helping individuals rediscover themselves, Surah Az-Zumar also opens the door to a spiritual journey. With a sophisticated structure and narrative, this Surah profoundly articulates the meaning of life and the orientation towards Allah."

The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty and Wise. We have sent down the Book to you with truth. Therefore, dedicate your worship sincerely to Allah. Beware, the pure religion is for Allah; those who take protectors besides Him say, "We only worship them so that they may bring us closer to Allah." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that in which they differ. Surely, Allah does not guide the disbelieving liar. If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates. Exalted is He; He is the One, the All-Powerful. It is He who truly created the heavens and the earth. He alternates night and day. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for a specified term. Beware, He is the Mighty, the Most Forgiving. He created you from a single soul, then made its mate from it; He has made for you eight pairs of animals; He creates you in the wombs of your mothers in three layers of darkness, from one creation to another; this is your Lord, Allah. Sovereignty belongs to Him; there is no deity besides Him. So how can you turn away from Him? If you disbelieve, know that Allah is Self-Sufficient. He is not pleased with the disbelief of His servants. But if you are grateful, He will be pleased with you. No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Ultimately, your return is to your Lord; then He will inform you of what you used to do; indeed, He knows what is in the breasts. When a hardship befalls man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him. But when He grants him a favor from Himself, he forgets what he was calling for before, and sets up rivals to Allah to mislead from His path. Say: "Enjoy your disbelief for a little while; indeed, you are among the companions of the Fire." Is the one who prostrates and stands in prayer during the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, equal to the disbeliever? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Only those of understanding will remember." And say: "O My believing servants! Fear your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious. Only the patient will be given their reward without account." Say: "I have been commanded to worship Allah, dedicating my religion sincerely to Him." "And I have been commanded to be the first of the Muslims." Say: "If I disobey my Lord, indeed, I fear the punishment of a great Day." Say: "I worship Allah, dedicating my religion sincerely to Him; O you who associate partners with Allah! You may worship whatever you wish besides Him." Say: "Those who will be in loss on the Day of Resurrection are the ones who have brought ruin upon themselves and their families. Beware, this is the manifest loss." For them are layers of fire above them. Allah warns His servants with this. O My servants, fear Me. For those who turn away from worshiping Satan and idols and turn to Allah, there is good news for them. Give glad tidings to My servants who listen to the speech and follow the best of it. It is they whom Allah has guided to the right path. They are the ones of understanding. Will you save the one upon whom the word of punishment has come, the one in the Fire? But for those who fear their Lord are lofty chambers, built one above another, beneath which rivers flow. This is the promise of Allah; Allah does not fail in His promise. Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the sky and places it in the earth's springs, then brings forth crops of various colors from it? Then He... He dries them up so that you see them yellow, then He turns them into debris. Indeed, in these, there is a lesson for those who possess intellect. Is not he whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, upon a light from his Lord? Woe to those whose hearts have hardened against the remembrance of Allah; indeed, they are in clear error. Allah has sent down the Book, with verses resembling each other and repeating in parts, as the best of words. Those who fear their Lord, their skin shivers from this Book, then their skins and their hearts soften and calm at the remembrance of Allah. This Book is Allah's guidance to truth; with it, He guides whom He wills to the straight path. And whom Allah leads astray, for him there is no guide. Is the one who strives to avert the evil of the Day of Resurrection like the one who is secure? It will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you have earned." Those before them also denied their prophets, and they were struck by a punishment from where they did not perceive. Allah made them taste humiliation in worldly life; and the punishment of the Hereafter is greater. If only they knew! We have certainly presented to people in this Qur'an every kind of example, that perhaps they will be reminded. It is a Qur'an in Arabic, free from any crookedness. Perhaps they will be cautious. Allah presents the example of a man with many quarrelsome masters and a man solely devoted to one master. Are the two equal? Praise is due to Allah, but most of them do not know. Indeed, you will die, and they will die. O mankind! Then you will surely be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection before your Lord. Who is more unjust than he who fabricates a lie against Allah or denies the truth when it has come to him? For the disbelievers, there will be no respite in Hell. Those who bring the truth and believe in it, it is they who are the ones who have feared Allah. For them, there are what they desire with their Lord; this is the reward of the righteous. Indeed, Allah covers their evil deeds and gives them the best of what they used to do. Is Allah not sufficient for His servant? They frighten you with that which is besides Him. And whom Allah leads astray, there is no guide for him. And whom Allah guides, there is no one to lead him astray. Is Allah not the Exalted in Might, the Avenger? And if you were to ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then inform me, if Allah intends for me harm, could those you invoke besides Him remove His harm? Or if He intends for me mercy, could they withhold His mercy?" Say, "Allah is sufficient for me; upon Him, those who would rely should rely." Say, "O my people! Work according to your position; indeed, I am working. You will surely know on whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him, and who will be afflicted by an everlasting punishment." Say, "O my people! Work according to your position; indeed, I am working. You will surely know on whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him, and who will be afflicted by an everlasting punishment." Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book in truth for mankind; so whoever is guided, it is for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, goes astray only to its detriment. And you are not a guardian over them. Indeed, Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those who do not die during their sleep; He keeps those upon whom He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed, in that are signs for people who give thought. Or have they taken other than Allah as intercessors? Say, "Even though they do not possess anything and do not understand?" Say, "All intercession belongs to Allah. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned." When Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. The hearts of the disbelievers beat with hatred, but when other deities besides Allah are mentioned, their faces immediately brighten with joy. Say: "O my Lord, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen! You will judge between Your servants concerning that in which they have differed." Everything on the earth and twice as much will belong to the wrongdoers, and if they were to offer it as a ransom on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. From Allah, there will come to them things they never accounted for. Their evil deeds will become apparent to them, and that which they used to mock will surround them. When a hardship befalls a person, he calls upon Us; but when We grant him a favor from Us, he says, "This has been given to me because of my knowledge." No! It is a trial, but most of them do not know. Those before them had also said the same, but what they earned did not benefit them. Therefore, the evil they earned befell them. Among them, the wrongdoers will also face the consequences of their evil deeds. In this matter, they cannot incapacitate Allah. Do they not know that Allah extends provision to whom He wills and restricts it? Indeed, in this are lessons for those who believe. Say: "O My servants who have believed! Fear your Lord. Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful." "Turn to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped." "And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive." Beware of the day when a person will say: "Woe to me! I wish I had not been among the mockers." Or he will say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous." Or when he sees the punishment, he will say, "If only I could have a return so I could be among the good." O mankind! Indeed, My verses had come to you, but you denied them and were arrogant and became among the disbelievers. You will see those who have fabricated lies against Allah, their faces will be blackened on the Day of Resurrection. Is there not a place of rest in Hell for the arrogant? Allah will save the righteous for their success. No evil will touch them; they will not grieve. Allah is the Creator of all things. He is the Trustee over all things. The keys of the heavens and the earth belong to Him. Those who deny the signs of Allah are indeed in loss. Say: "O ignorant ones! Do you order me to worship others besides Allah?" Indeed, it has been revealed to you and to those before you: "If you associate others with Allah, your deeds will surely become worthless, and you will be among the losers." "No! Worship only Allah and be among the grateful." They did not appraise Allah with true appraisal. The entire earth will be in His grasp on the Day of Resurrection; the heavens will be rolled up in His power. He is Exalted and Exalted above what they associate with Him. When the trumpet is blown, all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will fall dead, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on. The earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the Book will be laid open, and the prophets and witnesses will be brought forth, and it will be judged among them in truth, and they will not be wronged. And every soul will be fully compensated for what it earned. And indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. The disbelievers will be driven in droves to Hell. When they arrive there, its gates will be opened; and its keepers will say to them... They will say, "Did there not come to you messengers from among yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day?" They will reply, "Yes, indeed, messengers came to us." But the decree of punishment has been justified against the disbelievers. It will be said to them, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein eternally. What a wretched abode for the arrogant!" And those who feared their Lord will be led in groups to Paradise. When they arrive there and its gates will be opened, and its keepers will say to them, "Peace be upon you! Enter here to abide eternally." They will say, "All praise is due to Allah, who has fulfilled His promise to us and has made us inherit the land, so we may dwell in Paradise wherever we will. What an excellent reward for those who do good deeds!" You will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting Allah with praise. And it will be judged among the people in justice. And it will be said, "Praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds."
