Ya, Sin. By the Wise Qur'an, indeed you are among the messengers, on a straight path. By the Wise Qur'an, indeed you are among the messengers, on a straight path. By the Wise Qur'an, indeed you are among the messengers, on a straight path. This is a revelation from the Almighty and Merciful Allah to warn a people whose forefathers were not warned and who are heedless. This is a revelation from the Almighty and Merciful Allah to warn a people whose forefathers were not warned and who are heedless. Indeed, the decree has come into effect against most of them, so they will not believe. We have put chains around their necks up to their chins, so their heads are raised high. We have placed barriers before them and behind them. We have covered their eyes, so they cannot see. Whether you warn them or do not warn them, it is all the same; they will not believe. You can only warn him who follows the Reminder and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. Indeed, We are the ones who resurrect the dead and record what they have earned and their footprints; We have enumerated everything in a clear Book. Tell them the example of the city to which messengers came: We sent two messengers to it, but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third. They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to you." They said, "You are but humans like us. The Most Merciful has not sent down anything. You are only telling lies." The messengers said, "Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you; our duty is only to convey clearly." The messengers said, "Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you; our duty is only to convey clearly." They said, "Indeed, we have encountered misfortune because of you; if you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and a painful punishment will touch you from us." The messengers said, "Your misfortune is with yourselves. Is it because you were reminded? No; you are a transgressing people." And there came running from the farthest part of the city a man, saying, "O my people! Follow the messengers. Follow those who do not ask of you a reward, and they are rightly guided. And why should I not worship Him who created me? And to whom you will be returned. Should I take other gods besides Him? If the Most Merciful intends for me some harm, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor will they save me. Indeed, I would then be in manifest error. Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me." It was said, "Enter Paradise." He said, "Oh, would that my people knew of how my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored." And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have sent them down. It was but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished. Woe to the servants! No messenger comes to them except that they ridicule him. Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them, which they will not return to? And indeed, all of them will be brought before Us. And a sign for them is the dead earth. We bring it to life and bring forth from it grains, so they eat from it. And We made therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused springs to gush forth within it, that they may eat of its fruit and their hands have not produced it. Will they not be grateful? Exalted is He who created all pairs from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know. And a sign for them is the night. We strip the day from it, and they are in darkness. And the sun runs on its fixed course. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. And for the moon We have decreed phases until it returns like the old twig of a palm tree. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night overtake the day. Each, in an orbit, is swimming. And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in the laden ship. And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride. And if We willed, We could drown them, then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved. But We granted them respite for a time. And when it is said to them, "Spend from what you have been provided," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error." And they say, "When will this promise be, if you should be among the truthful?" They do not await except one blast of the horn, which will seize them while they are disputing. Then they will not be able to make a will, nor will they return to their people. And the Horn will be blown, and from their graves they will rush forth to their Lord. They will say, "Oh, woe to us! Who has raised us from our sleeping place?" [It will be said], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers spoke the truth." It will be but one shout, and at once they will all be brought before Us. So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do. Indeed, the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation. They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches. For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request. And peace, a word from a Merciful Lord. And it will be said, "But if you are criminals, separate yourselves today from the believers." O children of Adam! Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a manifest enemy. And that you worship [only] Me? This is the straight path. And it will be said, "But if you are criminals, separate yourselves today from the believers." O children of Adam! Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a manifest enemy. And that you worship [only] Me? This is the straight path. And it will be said, "But if you are criminals, separate yourselves today from the believers." O children of Adam! Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a manifest enemy. And that you worship [only] Me? This is the straight path. Indeed, he had led astray from among you much of creation; will you not reason? This is the Hell which you were promised. Enter today for what you used to deny. On that Day, We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to what they used to earn. And if We had willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to the path; but how could they see? And if We had willed, We could have frozen them in their place, so they could not move forward or return. We have reversed their creation as they were created. Will they not reflect? And We did not teach him poetry, nor would it be for him. It is not but a reminder and a clear Qur'an. To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. Do they not see that We created for them from what Our hands have made, livestock, and they are their owners? And We have subjected them to them, so some of them they ride, and some they eat. And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks; will they not be grateful? And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. They are not able to help them, and they will be for them soldiers in attendance. So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. Does man not consider that We created him from a sperm-drop? Yet he is a manifest adversary. And he presents for Us an example and forgets his own creation. He says, "Who will resurrect the bones while they are decayed?" Say, "He will resurrect them who created them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." The One who produces for you fire from the green tree, and indeed, you ignite from it. Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them? Yes. And He is the Knowing Creator. His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. Exalted is He in whose hand is dominion over all things, and to Him you will be returned.
