Translation (EN)

Why do you prohibit what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Indeed, Allah has made it lawful for you to take back your oaths with expiation. Allah is your Protector. He is All-Knowing and All-Wise. The Prophet had secretly told one of his wives a word. When she informed another wife of the Prophet, Allah informed the Prophet of the situation, and he disclosed part of it while withholding part of it. When he informed his wife that she had conveyed what he had secretly told her to another, she said, "Who told you this?" He replied, "Allah informed me, who knows everything and is aware of all things." O wives of the Prophet! If you repent to Allah, your hearts will be corrected. And if you cooperate against him, know that Allah is his Protector, and so are Gabriel, the righteous believers, and the angels, furthering the cause. O wives of the Prophet! If he divorces you, perhaps his Lord will give him in exchange for you better wives who submit to Allah, believe, are devout, repentant, worshipful, fasting, and are widows and virgins. O believers! Protect yourselves and your families from the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones; over it are fierce angels who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them and do what they are commanded. It will be said to the disbelievers, "Today do not make excuses; you are only receiving the recompense for what you used to do." O believers! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance so that your Lord may cover your evil deeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow. On the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believe with him, their light will be running before them and to their right, and they will say, "Our Lord! Perfect for us our light and forgive us; indeed, You are over all things competent." O Prophet! Fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh with them. Their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination! Allah sets forth the example of those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under the care of two of Our righteous servants, but they betrayed them and were not able to avail them against Allah. It was said to both of them, "Enter the Fire with those who enter." Allah sets forth the example of those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh. She said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people." And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, is also an example. We breathed into her of Our Spirit; she believed in the words of her Lord and His Scriptures, and was of the devout.
