Someone is asking about the punishment that will come from Allah, who possesses high ranks, to the disbelievers, a punishment that cannot be defended against. Someone is asking about the punishment that will come from Allah, who possesses high ranks, to the disbelievers, a punishment that cannot be defended against. Someone is asking about the punishment that will come from Allah, who possesses high ranks, to the disbelievers, a punishment that cannot be defended against. The angels and Gabriel ascend to those ranks on a day whose length is fifty thousand years. Be patient with a good patience; indeed, the disbelievers see the punishment as distant. But we see it as near. The sky will be like molten metal on that day. The mountains will become like tufts of wool that have been thrown away. No friend will ask about another friend. They will only be shown to one another. On that day, the guilty will wish to ransom themselves from the punishment by sacrificing their sons, their families, their brothers, their kin who provided shelter for them, and everyone on earth to save themselves. They will only be shown to one another. No, it will not be so... There is a blazing fire that calls those who turn their backs and flee, who gather their wealth and withhold the rights of others, who peel off and scorch the skin. No, it will not be so... There is a blazing fire that calls those who turn their backs and flee, who gather their wealth and withhold the rights of others, who peel off and scorch the skin. Indeed, man is created very impatient: when evil befalls him, he cries out, and when good comes to him, he withholds it from everyone; except for those who establish prayer and give a due share to the poor and needy in their prayers, those who affirm the Day of Judgment, and those who fear the punishment of their Lord. Except for those who establish prayer and give a due share to the poor and needy in their prayers, those who affirm the Day of Judgment, and those who fear the punishment of their Lord. Except for those who establish prayer and give a due share to the poor and needy in their prayers, those who affirm the Day of Judgment, and those who fear the punishment of their Lord. Except for those who establish prayer and give a due share to the poor and needy in their prayers, those who affirm the Day of Judgment, and those who fear the punishment of their Lord. Indeed, no one is safe from the punishment of their Lord. Those who guard their private parts, except from their spouses and those whom their right hands possess, indeed, they are not to be blamed. Those who guard their private parts, except from their spouses and those whom their right hands possess, indeed, they are not to be blamed. Transgressing these limits. Those who wish, indeed, they are the transgressors. Those who fulfill their trusts and their promises, those who properly bear witness, and those who observe their prayers—indeed, they are the ones who will be honored in the gardens of Paradise. What is the matter with the disbelievers? They are rushing towards you in groups from the right and from the left. What is the matter with the disbelievers? They are rushing towards you in groups from the right and from the left. Does each of them hope to be placed in a garden of blessings? No; indeed, We have created them from what they know. By the Lord of the East and the West, We are certainly able to replace them with better than them, and no one can outpace Us. By the Lord of the East and the West, We are certainly able to replace them with better than them, and no one can outpace Us. Leave them; let them indulge until they meet the Day that has been promised to them. The day they will emerge quickly from their graves, their eyes humbled, their faces covered in disgrace, as if they are racing towards erected idols. Indeed, this is the Day that has been promised to them. The day they will emerge quickly from their graves, their eyes humbled, their faces covered in disgrace, as if they are racing towards erected idols. Indeed, this is the Day that has been promised to them.
