Translation (EN)

Alif, Lam, Mim. This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah. They say, "He has fabricated it." Say, "It is the truth from your Lord that I may warn a people to whom no warner has come before me; perhaps they will be guided." It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded? He manages every affair from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count. That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might and the Merciful. Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay, then made his progeny from a sperm-drop of despised fluid; then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit; and He made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. And they say, "When we have become decayed bones, will we then be raised up as a new creation?" Say, "Be you stones or iron or any creation of that which is great within your breasts." Then they will say, "Who will return us to our former state?" Say, "He who created you the first time." Then they will nod their heads toward you and say, "When will that be?" Say, "Perhaps it will be soon." The Day when the Caller will call out to a thing terrible, and the dead will rise from their graves. And the criminals will be brought forth before their Lord, with their heads bowed down, saying, "Our Lord, we have seen and heard; so return us to the world, and we will do righteousness; indeed, we are now believers." If We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me has come into effect that I will surely fill Hell with jinn and mankind together. So taste what you have forgotten the meeting of this Day; indeed, We have certainly forgotten you. And taste the eternal punishment for what you used to do. Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and exalt Allah with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant. Their sides forsake their beds to invoke their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend. And no one knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for the eyes as a reward for what they used to do. And is one who is a believer like one who is a transgressor? They are not equal. As for those who have believed and done righteous deeds, for them are the Gardens of Refuge as a hospitality. But as for those who have transgressed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they seek to emerge from it, they will be returned to it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the punishment of eternity, which you used to deny." And We will surely let them taste a portion of the punishment before the greater punishment, that perhaps they will return. And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord and turns away from them? Indeed, We will take retribution from the criminals. And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture; so never be in doubt of meeting him. And We made the Children of Israel a guide for the people, and We made from among them leaders, guiding by Our command when they were patient and were certain of Our signs. Indeed, Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that in which they used to differ. Does it not guide them to the right path that We have destroyed many generations before them, among whom they walk? Indeed, in this are signs. Will they not listen? Do they not see that We send down water from the sky and produce thereby crops from which they eat, as well as their livestock? Do they not see? They say, "If you are truthful, inform us when this judgment will be." Say, "On the Day the judgment is established, the disbelievers will not benefit from their faith, nor will they be granted respite." So leave them; wait, indeed, they are waiting for your outcome.
