I swear by the star that sets, your companion (Muhammad) has neither strayed nor erred. He does not speak out of his own desire. His speech is only a revelation that is revealed. He was taught by one possessing mighty strength, by Gabriel; he appeared in the highest part of the horizon. He was taught by one possessing mighty strength, by Gabriel; he appeared in the highest part of the horizon. He was taught by one possessing mighty strength, by Gabriel; he appeared in the highest part of the horizon. Then he drew near and descended. He was at a distance of two bows' length or even closer. At that moment, Allah revealed to His servant what He intended to reveal. The sight did not waver, nor did it exceed its limit. Indeed, he saw of the greatest signs of his Lord. O disbelievers! Will you now dispute with him concerning what he saw? Indeed, he saw Gabriel in another descent at the end of the boundary. Indeed, he saw Gabriel in another descent at the end of the boundary. There is the Garden of Abode. The Sidrah was enveloped. His sight did not swerve, nor did it exceed its limit. Indeed, he saw of the greatest signs of his Lord. O disbelievers! Now tell me, what is Lat, Uzza, and the third one, Manat? O disbelievers! Now tell me, what is Lat, Uzza, and the third one, Manat? Is for you the male and for Him the female? That indeed is an unjust division. These are but names you and your forefathers have invented. Allah has not sent down any authority for them. They follow not except assumption and what their souls desire. And there has certainly come to them from their Lord the truth guide. Or is for man what he wishes? To Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first life. And many angels in the heavens, their intercession will not avail at all except after Allah has permitted for whom He wills and approves. Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels with female names. And they have no knowledge of it; they follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth. So turn away from those who turn away from Our remembrance and desire not except the worldly life. That is the extent of their knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is Most Knowing of who has gone astray from His way and He is Most Knowing of the rightly guided. And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Indeed, He will recompense those who have wronged for what they have done, and He will bestow upon those who did good the best reward for their deeds. Indeed, your Lord is All-Encompassing in forgiveness. He is the One who created you from the earth and when you were embryos in the wombs of your mothers, He knew you very well. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He knows best who fears Him. Have you seen the one who turns away and gives a little and then withholds? Have you seen the one who turns away and gives a little and then withholds? Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses and the scriptures of Abraham, who fulfilled his obligations? No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And man will have nothing but that for which he strives. And his effort is going to be seen. It will be seen. Then, a complete recompense will be given to him. Indeed, the final return is to your Lord. Indeed, He is the One who brings laughter and causes weeping. Indeed, He is the One who gives life and causes death. Indeed, He is the One who created the male and female from a sperm drop when it is emitted. Indeed, He is the One who resurrects after death. Indeed, He is the One who enriches and makes wealthy. Indeed, He is the Lord of the star Shira. He is the One who destroyed the people of 'Aad and left no trace of them. He is the One who destroyed the people of Thamud and left no trace of them. He is the One who previously destroyed the people of Noah; for they were a people of great transgression and wickedness. He is the One who caused the cities of the people of Lot to sink, burying them deeper and deeper. He is the One who caused the cities of the people of Lot to sink, burying them deeper and deeper. O man! Of which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? This is indeed a warning like the first warners. The Day of Resurrection has drawn near. There is none to bring it forth except Allah. Are you amazed at this statement? You laugh... but do not weep. You are heedlessly indulging. So prostrate and worship Allah.
