Translation (EN)

Kaf. By the glorious Qur'an. The disbelievers are astonished that a warner has come to them from among themselves, saying: "Is this a strange thing? Will we be raised to life after we have become decayed bones?" They say: "Who will return us to our former state?" They are in denial of the truth when it comes to them; they are in doubt. Do they not look at the sky above them, how We have constructed it and adorned it, and there are no cracks in it? We spread the earth and placed firm mountains therein, and caused to grow therein of every kind of beautiful species as a lesson and a proof for every servant who turns to Allah. We sent down from the sky blessed water, and with it We caused gardens to grow, and crops with grain, and tall palm trees with clusters of dates. With that water, We revived a dead land. Indeed, the resurrection of mankind is similar. Before them, the people of Noah, the dwellers of Ras, Thamud, 'Aad, the people of Pharaoh, the brothers of Lot, the people of Aykal, and the people of Tubba' denied; indeed, all of them denied their messengers, and My threat was fulfilled. Did We tire in the first creation? No; they are in doubt about the creation of a new life. Indeed, We created man, and We know what his soul whispers to him; We are closer to him than his jugular vein. On his right and on his left are two recording angels, sitting ready to record every word he utters. The intoxication of death will come in truth; O man, this is what you have been fearing. The trumpet will be blown. This is the Day of Promise. Every soul will come with a driver and a witness. It will be said: "Indeed, you were heedless of this; now We have removed your veil, and today your sight is sharp." The angel at his side will say: "Here is what I have ready." Allah will say: "O driver and witness! Cast into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, hinderer of good, transgressor, and doubter, who set up another god beside Allah." The devil beside him will say: "Our Lord! I did not lead him astray, but he was in extreme error." Allah will say: "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. My word is not changed; I do not do injustice to the servants." On that Day, Hell will be asked: "Are you filled?" And it will say: "Is there more?" And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far away. It will be said: "This is what you were promised, for every penitent and keeper of the covenant; who feared the Most Merciful in the unseen and came with a heart returning in repentance. Enter therein in peace; this is the Day of Eternity." There they will have whatever they wish, and with Us is more. We have destroyed many generations before them who were stronger than them in power and had traversed the lands; is there any escape? Indeed, in this is a lesson for whoever has a heart or listens while he is present. And We created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, and We did not feel any fatigue. So be patient over what they say and glorify your Lord with praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting. And during the night, glorify Him and after the prostrations. And listen for the Day when the caller will call from a near place. The Day they will hear the blast in truth; that is the Day of emergence from the graves. Indeed, We give life and cause death, and to Us is the final destination. On that Day, the earth will be split from them, and they will hastily depart; that is a gathering easy for Us. We know what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. So warn by the Qur'an whoever fears My threat.
