Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and the clear Qur'an. The disbelievers will wish, "If only we had been Muslims." Let them eat and enjoy; let hope amuse them; they will come to know later. Every town that We have destroyed certainly has a known decree. No nation can advance its term, nor can it delay it. They said: "O you to whom the Book has been revealed! Indeed, you are surely insane. If you are among the truthful, bring us the angels." They said: "O you to whom the Book has been revealed! Indeed, you are surely insane. If you are among the truthful, bring us the angels." We only send down the angels when necessary. Then they will not be delayed in punishment. Indeed, We have sent down the Book, and We are certainly its guardian. We had sent messengers to various nations before you. Every messenger they mocked. Similarly, We insert the Book into the hearts of the criminals, yet they do not believe in it. Indeed, the fate of those before them is evident. Similarly, We insert the Book into the hearts of the criminals, yet they do not believe in it. Indeed, the fate of those before them is evident. Even if We opened a gate from the heavens for them and they were to ascend through it, they would say, "Our eyes have been dazzled; rather, we have been bewitched." Even if We opened a gate from the heavens for them and they were to ascend through it, they would say, "Our eyes have been dazzled; rather, we have been bewitched." Indeed, We have created constellations in the heavens and adorned them for the observers. We have protected them from every accursed devil. But if anyone steals a hearing, a bright flame will pursue him. We spread the earth and placed firm mountains therein, and We caused everything to grow therein in due measure. There We have made provisions for you and for those whom you do not provide for. There is nothing whose treasures are not with Us. We only send it down in a known measure. We send the winds as fertilizing messengers; and We send down water from the sky and give you drink from it, and you could not store it. Indeed, We are the ones who give life and cause death; and We remain behind them. Indeed, We know what has passed before you; and We certainly know what will remain. Indeed, your Lord will resurrect them and gather them together. Surely, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing. And We certainly created man from dry clay like pottery. And We created the jinn before from smokeless fire. Your Lord said to the angels, "I am creating a human being from dry clay like pottery. When I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down to him in prostration." Your Lord said to the angels, "I am creating a human being from dry clay like pottery. When I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down to him in prostration." So all the angels prostrated, except for Iblis. He was among those who refused to prostrate. Allah said, "O Iblis! What has prevented you from being among those who prostrated?" He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." Allah said, "Then get out of here, for you are indeed accursed. And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Judgment." He said, "My Lord! Then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." Allah said, "Indeed, you are among those who are reprieved until the Day of the known time." Allah said, "Indeed, you are among those who are reprieved until the Day of the known time." He said, "My Lord! Because You have led me astray, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all." "I will surely lead all of them astray," he said. "My Lord! Because You have led me astray, I will make evil deeds seem alluring to them on earth; I will surely lead all of them astray, except for Your chosen servants." Allah said: "This is My straight path, which is indeed the right path. You will have no authority over My servants, except for the misled ones who follow you." "And Hell is the place where they will all be gathered." It has seven gates, and for every gate, there is a designated portion of them. But those who are conscious of Allah will be in gardens and springs. "Enter therein in peace and security," it will be said. We have removed any resentment from their hearts, and they will be as brothers, facing one another on thrones. They will not feel any fatigue there, nor will they be expelled from it. Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, and that My punishment is the painful punishment. Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, and that My punishment is the painful punishment. And tell them about the guests of Abraham: When they entered upon Abraham, they said, "Peace." He answered, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." They said, "Fear not; we give you good tidings of a learned boy." When they entered upon Abraham, they said, "Peace." He answered, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." They said, "Fear not; we give you good tidings of a learned boy." "Are you giving me good tidings when old age has come upon me? What then is your reason for good tidings?" They said, "We have certainly given you good tidings; so do not be of the despairing." "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" he asked. "O messengers! What is your business?" "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals. Except for the family of Lot; we will surely save them all, except for his wife; We deemed her to be of those who remain behind." When the messengers came to the family of Lot, he said, "Indeed, you are a people unknown." When the messengers came to the family of Lot, he said, "Indeed, you are a people unknown." "We have come to you with what they have doubted. We have come to you with the truth. Indeed, we are truthful. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them; and let not anyone among you look back; and go where you are commanded." "We have come to you with what they have doubted. We have come to you with the truth. Indeed, we are truthful. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them; and let not anyone among you look back; and go where you are commanded." "We have come to you with what they have doubted. We have come to you with the truth. Indeed, we are truthful. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them; and let not anyone among you look back; and go where you are commanded." Thus, it was made clear to Lot that their end would be cut off. We informed them that they would be spending the morning. The people of the city came joyfully. Lot said, "These are my guests, do not disgrace me before them, fear Allah, and do not put me to shame." Lot said, "These are my guests, do not disgrace me before them, fear Allah, and do not put me to shame." They said, "Did we not forbid you from accepting anyone as a guest?" Lot replied, "If you must, here are my daughters." By your life, they were staggering in their intoxication. As dawn broke, a cry seized them. We overturned their city and rained down upon them stones of baked clay. In this, there are signs for those who can see. The ruins of that city still stand on well-traveled roads. In this, there is a lesson for the believers. The people of Al-Hijr were indeed wrongdoers. Therefore, We took retribution from them. Both cities are still situated on a well-traveled road. Indeed, the people of Al-Hijr had denied the Prophet. Even though We had given them Our signs, they turned away. In the mountains, they carved out homes in safety. A cry seized them in the early morning. What they had done did not benefit them. We created the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them in due measure. The Day of Resurrection is surely coming. So be gentle and kind. Indeed, the Creator and Knower is only your Lord. We have indeed given you the seven repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. Do not covet the abundant wealth We have given to some of the disbelievers, nor be saddened by them; shelter the believers under your wings. Say, "Indeed, I am a clear warner." To those who divide the Qur'an according to their desires, and to the Jews and Christians who believe in part of their Book and reject part of it, We have indeed sent down a Book; by your Lord, We will surely hold them accountable for what they used to do. To those who divide the Qur'an according to their desires, and to the Jews and Christians who believe in part of their Book and reject part of it, We have indeed sent down a Book; by your Lord, We will surely hold them accountable for what they used to do. To those who divide the Qur'an according to their desires, and to the Jews and Christians who believe in part of their Book and reject part of it, We have indeed sent down a Book; by your Lord, We will surely hold them accountable for what they used to do. To those who divide the Qur'an according to their desires, and to the Jews and Christians who believe in part of their Book and reject part of it, We have indeed sent down a Book; by your Lord, We will surely hold them accountable for what they used to do. So declare what has been commanded openly, and do not care for the idolaters. Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers who associate others with Allah. Soon they will know what is coming to them. Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers who associate others with Allah. Soon they will know what is coming to them. Indeed, We know that your heart is distressed by what they say. Praise your Lord and be among those who prostrate, and worship your Lord until death. Praise your Lord and be among those who prostrate, and worship your Lord until death.
