Translation (EN)
O mankind! Fear your Lord; indeed, the tremor of the Day of Resurrection is a tremendous thing. The nursing woman will forget what she was nursing, and the pregnant woman will drop her burden. You will see people as if they were drunk, yet they are not drunk; but the punishment of Allah is severe. There are people who carry falsehood about Allah without knowledge and follow every rebellious devil. It has been written about him: He misleads whoever takes him as a friend and leads him to a blazing punishment. O mankind! If you are in doubt about the resurrection after death, know that We have created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed, that We may show you Our signs. We keep you in the wombs for a specified term; then We bring you out as infants, and you grow and reach maturity. Some of you are taken in death, and some of you are brought back to the most miserable part of life, so that they do not know anything after having known. You see the earth barren, but when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells and produces every kind of beautiful plant in pairs. This is a sign that Allah is the Truth, that He revives the dead, that His power is over all things, and that the Hour of Resurrection is coming without doubt; and that Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves. There are people who, without knowledge, argue arrogantly about Allah to mislead from His path, without a guiding teacher or an enlightening book. For them is disgrace in this world; and We will make them taste the burning punishment on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them, "This is for what your own hands have sent before [to judgment], and indeed, Allah is not unjust to the servants." Among the people are those who worship Allah on an edge; if good befalls him, he is reassured, but if a trial befalls him, he turns on his face. He loses this world and the Hereafter. That is the manifest loss. He invokes besides Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is the extreme error. He invokes one whose harm is closer than his benefit. What an evil helper and what an evil companion! Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allah does what He wills. Whoever thinks that Allah will not support him in this world and the Hereafter, let him extend a rope to the ceiling and hang himself; then let him see whether his plan will remove that which has enraged him. Thus We have sent down the Qur'an as clear signs. Indeed, Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path. Indeed, those who have believed and those who are Jews or Sabeans or Christians or Magians or those who associate others with Allah, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, Allah is, over all things, Witness. Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the animals, and many of the people? And upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates - for him there is no honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills. Here are two opposing parties who dispute concerning their Lord: For those who disbelieve, garments of fire have been tailored for them, and boiling water will be poured over their heads, by which is melted what is within their bellies and their skins. Iron mallets... for them. Indeed, there are two parties that dispute regarding their Lord: for those who deny Him, garments of fire have been tailored for them, and boiling water will be poured over their heads, whereby it will melt what is in their bellies and their skins. They will also have iron maces. Whenever they seek to emerge from their anguish, they will be returned to it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the torment of burning." Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds into gardens beneath which rivers flow. There, they will wear bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments will be of silk. They will be guided to the good word and will be led to the path of the Praiseworthy Allah. Indeed, We will cause those who disbelieve and hinder others from the path of Allah, and those who seek to distort it with oppression, to taste a painful punishment. "Do not associate anything with Me; keep My House clean for those who perform Tawaf, stand in prayer, bow, and prostrate." We appointed Ibrahim at the site of the Ka'bah. "Call the people to Hajj; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, coming from distant pathways." So that they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over the livestock He has provided for them as sustenance. So eat from them and feed the needy who is in distress. Then let them cleanse themselves of their impurities and fulfill their vows and perform Tawaf around the Ancient House. Thus it is. And whoever honors the sacred rites of Allah, it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. The animals that are recited to you as prohibited, except for those, have been made lawful for you. So avoid the abominations of idols and avoid false speech. Turn to Allah, associating nothing with Him, and avoid the abominations of idols and avoid false speech. Indeed, the one who associates partners with Allah is like one who falls from the sky and is snatched by birds or is swept away by the wind into a distant place. This is so; and whoever honors the symbols of Allah, indeed, it is from the piety of hearts. In them are benefits for you for a specified term. Then they end at the Ancient House, the Ka'bah. For every nation, We have made the sacrificial animals lawful, upon which they mention the name of Allah over the sustenance He has provided for them. Your God is one God; submit to Him. And give good tidings to those who humble themselves, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and they endure what has befallen them, and they establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them. Indeed, We have made the sacrificial camels and cattle among the symbols of Allah; in them is good for you. So mention the name of Allah over them when they are lined up for sacrifice. Then when they fall on their sides, eat from them and feed the one who is content and the one who is in need. We have made them subject to you so that you may be grateful. Neither their flesh nor their blood will reach Allah, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus We have made them subject to you that you may glorify Allah for what He has guided you to. He has entrusted you with His command. Give glad tidings to those who do good. Indeed, Allah defends the believers; surely, He does not love the treacherous and the ungrateful. Permission has been granted to those who have been wronged and have been fought against to defend themselves and fight back. Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful in aiding them. They have been expelled from their homes unjustly, merely for saying, "Our Lord is Allah." If Allah had not repelled some people by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned would have been demolished. Indeed, Allah will help those who help Him. Truly, Allah is Strong and Mighty. If We establish them on the earth, they will establish prayer, pay zakat, enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong. The outcome of all matters belongs to Allah. If they call you a liar, know that before them, the people of Noah, 'Aad, Thamud, the people of Abraham, the people of Lot, and the people of Midian also called their prophets liars, and Moses was also denied. But I granted respite to the disbelievers, then seized them; so let them see how was My punishment. Many towns' inhabitants We destroyed while they were committing injustice. Now their roofs have fallen in, their wells are abandoned, and their palaces are empty. Do they not travel through the earth so that they may have hearts to understand and ears to hear? Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts within the chests are blind. They ask you to hasten the punishment. Allah will never fail in His promise. A day with your Lord is like a thousand years of what you count. Many towns I granted respite, although they were unjust; then I seized them. To Me is the return. "O mankind! I am only a clear warner to you," say. Abundant provision and forgiveness are for those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those who strive to distort Our verses are indeed the companions of Hellfire. There has not been a messenger or prophet that We sent before you but that when he desired, Satan threw into his desire some suggestion; but Allah abolishes what Satan throws in; then Allah affirms His verses. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. Allah makes the suggestions of Satan a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and those whose hearts are hardened. Indeed, the wrongdoers are in profound dissension. This is so that those who have been given knowledge may know that the Qur'an is the truth from your Lord and that they may believe in it and their hearts may humble themselves to it. Indeed, Allah guides the believers to a straight path. Those who disbelieve continue to doubt the Qur'an until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or until the punishment of a day that has no night comes upon them. On that day, sovereignty will belong to Allah. He will judge between them. Those who believe and do righteous deeds will be in the gardens of bliss. As for those who disbelieve and deny Our verses, they will have a humiliating punishment. Indeed, Allah will provide a good provision for those who emigrate in His cause, then are killed or die. The best of providers is Allah alone. Indeed, He will surely please them. He places what will happen in its place. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Forbearing. This is so; whoever avenges himself as much as he has been wronged, and then he is again attacked, Allah will surely help him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Thus it is; Allah merges the night into the day, and the day into the night, and indeed, Allah hears and sees. Moreover, the truth is only Allah; what they worship besides Him is falsehood. Truly, Allah is Exalted and Great. Do you not see how Allah sends down water from the heavens, and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allah is Subtle, All-Aware. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Indeed, Allah is Self-Sufficient, Worthy of Praise. Do you not see that Allah has made what is on the earth and the ships that sail in the sea under your command? And He holds up the heavens so that it does not fall upon the earth except by His permission? Indeed, Allah is Compassionate and Merciful towards the people. It is He who gives you life, then causes you to die, then brings you back to life. Indeed, man is very ungrateful. We have appointed acts of worship for every community. Therefore, do not let them dispute with you over this; invite them to your Lord, for you are indeed on the right path. If they argue with you, say: "Allah knows well what you do; on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ." We have appointed acts of worship for every community. Therefore, do not let them dispute with you over this; invite them to your Lord, for you are indeed on the right path. If they argue with you, say: "Allah knows well what you do; on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ." Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth? These are surely in the Book, and indeed, these are easy for Allah. They worship besides Allah what He has not sent down any authority for, and they have no knowledge of it. The wrongdoers will have no helper. When Our verses are recited to them clearly, you can recognize disbelief on the faces of the disbelievers. Almost, they would attack those who recite Our verses to them. Say: "Shall I inform you of something worse? The Fire which Allah has promised to the disbelievers! What a wretched destination!" O mankind! A parable is being made, so listen to it: If all that you worship besides Allah were to gather, they would not be able to create a fly. And if the fly should take something from them, they would not be able to rescue it. Both the seeker and the sought are powerless! They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal. Indeed, Allah is Strong and Mighty. Allah chooses messengers from among the angels and from among the people. Indeed, Allah hears and sees. He knows their past and their future. All matters return to Allah. O believers! Bow down, prostrate, worship your Lord, and do good so that you may succeed. Strive in the cause of Allah as is due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty, the faith of your father Ibrahim. He is the one who named you Muslims before and in the Qur'an, that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over mankind. So establish prayer, give zakat, and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector. What an excellent protector and what an excellent helper!
