Ahzâb

Ya eyyuhen nebiyyuttekillahe ve la tutıil kafirine vel munafikin, innallahe kane alimen hakima. Vettebi' ma yuha ileyke min rabbik, innallahe kane bima ta'melune habira. Ve tevekkel alallah ve kefa billahi vekila. Ma cealallahu li raculin min kalbeyni fi cevfih, ve ma ceale ezvacekumullai tuzahırune min hunne ummehatikum, ve ma ceale ed'ıyaekum ebnaekum, zalikum kavlukum bi efvahikum, vallahu yekulul hakka ve huve yehdis sebil. Ud'uhum li abaihim huve aksatu indallah, fe in lem ta'lemu abaehum fe ıhvanukum fid dini ve mevalikum, ve leyse aleykum cunahun fima ahta'tum bihi ve lakin ma taammedet kulubukum, ve kanallahu gafuren rahima. Translation (EN)
O Prophet! Fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord; indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do. Put your trust in Allah; Allah is sufficient as a Trustee. Allah has not placed two hearts within a man. Nor has He made your wives whom you declare to be like your mothers. Nor has He made your adopted sons your actual sons. These are mere words you utter with your mouths. But Allah speaks the truth, and He guides to the right path. Call your adopted sons by their fathers' names; that is more just in the sight of Allah. If you do not know their fathers, then they are your brothers in faith and your friends. There is no blame upon you for what you mistakenly do, but what your hearts intend is what matters. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. The believers should love the Prophet more than their own selves; his wives are their mothers. Relatives are closer to one another in the Book of Allah than the believers and the emigrants, except for what you do for your friends. This is written in the Book. We had taken a covenant from the Prophets, from you, from Noah, from Abraham, from Moses, and from Jesus, the son of Mary. And Allah has taken a solemn pledge from them. Allah does this to question the truthful about their truthfulness and to prepare a painful punishment for the disbelievers. O believers! Remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to you, and We sent against them a wind and unseen armies. Allah was All-Seer of what you do. They came to you from above and from below, and your eyes turned pale, and your hearts reached your throats, and you were thinking various thoughts about Allah. There the believers were tested and shaken with a severe shaking. The hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease said, "Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusion." And a party of them said, "O people of Yathrib! You have no place to stand, so return." And a group of them asked permission of the Prophet, saying, "Indeed, our houses are unprotected." But they were not unprotected; they only wished to flee. If they had been invaded from all sides and asked to create discord, they would have done so and would not have hesitated. Indeed, they had previously pledged to Allah that they would not turn their backs. And the covenant made with Allah will be questioned. Say, "If you flee from death or killing, it will not benefit you. And if you flee, you will not be given respite except for a little." Say, "Whoever desires for you a harm or desires for you a mercy, who can protect you against Allah? And you will not find for yourselves besides Allah any protector or helper." Allah knows those among you who hinder others and say to their brothers, "Come to us," and do not go to battle except for a little. When fear comes upon them, you see them looking at you with eyes rolling like one who is about to faint from death. But when the fear departs, they lash you with sharp tongues, and they are stingy with good. These have not believed, so Allah has made their deeds worthless; and this is easy for Allah. It is easy for them. They thought that the enemy troops had not left. If those troops had returned, they would have wished to be among the Bedouins in the deserts, merely asking for your news. If they were among you, they would have fought very little. O believers! Indeed, for you, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) is the best example for those who hope to meet Allah and the Last Day and remember Allah much. When the believers saw the enemy troops, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger have promised us; Allah and His Messenger have spoken the truth." This only increased their faith and submission. Among the believers are men who have fulfilled their covenant with Allah; some of them have given their lives, and some are still waiting. They have not changed their covenant in the least. Therefore, Allah rewards the truthful for their truthfulness; He may punish the hypocrites or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Allah turned back the disbelievers, filled with hatred, and they did not attain any good; in battle, Allah's help was sufficient for the believers. Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. Allah brought down the disbelievers among the People of the Book from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts; some of them you killed, and some you took captive. Allah has granted you their lands, homes, and wealth, as well as lands you have not yet set foot upon. Allah is All-Powerful. O Prophet! Say to your wives: "If you desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and release you in a gracious manner." "But if you desire Allah and His Messenger and the abode of the Hereafter, then know that Allah has prepared for those among you who do good a great reward." O wives of the Prophet! If any of you commits a clear indecency, her punishment will be doubled. This is easy for Allah. For those of you who obey Allah and His Messenger and do good deeds, We will give them a double reward; We have prepared for them generous provision. O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you fear Allah, do not be soft in speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire; but speak with appropriate speech. Stay in your houses; do not display yourselves as in the days of ignorance; establish prayer, give zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. O people of the Prophet's household! Indeed, Allah wishes to remove any impurity from you and to make you pure. Remember the verses of Allah and wisdom that are recited in your houses. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware and All-Subtle. Indeed, the Muslim men and women, the believing men and women, the obedient men and women, the truthful men and women, the patient men and women, the humble men and women, the charitable men and women, the fasting men and women, the chaste men and women, and those who remember Allah much—Allah has prepared for all of them forgiveness and a great reward. When Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter, it is not for a believing man or woman to have any choice in their matter. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error. To the one whom Allah has favored and whom you have favored, you say, "Do not divorce your wife; fear Allah," while you conceal within yourself what Allah is about to disclose. You feared the people, but it is more fitting that you fear Allah. When Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you, so that there would be no blame upon the believers concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they have no need for them. The command of Allah is to be fulfilled. It will come. There is no difficulty for the Messenger of Allah in what He has made obligatory upon him. This is the law of Allah that has been in effect since the past and will continue for those who have come before. The command of Allah will undoubtedly be fulfilled as it should. Those who convey what Allah has sent down fear Allah and do not fear anyone other than Him. Allah is sufficient as a Reckoner. Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the prophets. Allah is All-Knowing. O believers! Remember Allah abundantly. Glorify Him morning and evening. It is Allah and His angels who bestow mercy and seek forgiveness for you in order to bring you out of darkness into light. He is the one who shows mercy to the believers. On the day they meet Him, the greetings for the believers will be "Peace." He has prepared for them a generous reward. We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good tidings, a warner; by Allah's permission, a light that calls to Him and illuminates. Give glad tidings to the believers of a great favor from their Lord. When you marry believing women and then divorce them without having touched them, there is no waiting period for them to count. Release them kindly, with a gift. We have made lawful for you to marry the women you have given their dowries, the female captives that Allah has granted you as spoils, the daughters of your uncles who have migrated with you, the daughters of your aunts, the daughters of your paternal uncles, the daughters of your maternal aunts, and the believing woman who gives her dowry to the Prophet if he wishes to marry her, exclusively for you. We have informed you of what we have made obligatory upon you regarding the wives and female captives of the believers, so that you do not face hardship. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. You may leave any of them you wish and take to yourself any you desire; there is no blame upon you for what you have left behind. This is more suitable for them to be content and not grieve, and to be pleased with what you have given them. Allah knows what is in your hearts; Allah is All-Knowing, Forbearing. After this, it is not lawful for you to take any woman, nor to exchange any of your female captives for another wife, no matter how pleasing her beauty may be to you. Allah is All-Watchful. O believers! Do not enter the houses of the Prophet without being invited for a meal; but if you are invited, then enter, and when you have eaten, disperse. Do not linger for conversation. This distresses the Prophet, and he is shy to tell you. Allah does not shy away from the truth. When you ask something from the wives of the Prophet, do so from behind a screen. This will be purer for your hearts and their hearts. After this, it is not permissible for you to cause any harm to the Messenger of Allah or to marry any of his wives. Indeed, this is a great matter in the sight of Allah. Whether you reveal a thing or conceal it, Allah surely knows it all. There is no blame upon them regarding their fathers, their sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their female servants, and their female captives. Fear Allah, for Allah is Witness over all things. Indeed, Allah and His angels praise the Prophet: O believers! Invoke blessings upon him and greet him with peace. Allah curses those who harm Allah and His Messenger; He will curse them in this world and the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment. He prepares. Those who hurt believing men and women for something they did not do have certainly committed slander and have borne a manifest sin. O Prophet! Tell your wives, your daughters, and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks around them; this is more suitable for them to be recognized as chaste and not be harmed. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. The hypocrites, those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who spread rumors in the city, if they do not desist, We will surely urge you to fight them; then they will not remain in your vicinity for long. Cursed, they will be seized wherever they are found and killed. This is the law of Allah that has passed before, and you will not find any change in the law of Allah. People ask you about the Hour; say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah; what do you know? Perhaps the Hour is near." Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a blazing Hellfire in which they will abide eternally. They will not find a protector or helper. The day their faces are turned in the Fire, they will say, "Oh, if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!" They will say, "Our Lord! Do not be like those who harmed Moses; indeed, Allah had held him accountable for what they said. He was esteemed in the sight of Allah. O believers! Fear Allah and speak a word of appropriate justice so that He may make your deeds beneficial for you and forgive your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great victory. O believers! Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens, the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and feared it; but man undertook it. Indeed, he was very unjust and very ignorant. Allah will surely accept the repentance of the believing men and women. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
