Seyr-i Süluk

Seyr-i Süluk refers to a spiritual journey undertaken under the guidance of a murshid in Sufism. This process aims for the individual to purify their soul, discover themselves, and draw closer to Allah. Seyr-i Süluk typically occurs in five stages, each of which is critically important for the individual's progress. These stages involve the training of the self, achieving heart purity, and ultimately reaching divine love. Participants advance on this journey through dhikr, fasting, and other acts of worship.
