Patience
"Patience is the state of being steadfast and remaining patient in the face of difficulties."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Patience is regarded as an important virtue in Islam and Sufism. Resilience in the face of challenging conditions is the essence of patience. A person can achieve spiritual maturity by learning to remain steadfast against the hardships, mistakes, or losses encountered in life. In Sufism, patience serves as a means for a person to resist the desires and wants of their ego and to stay away from worldly pleasures. Patience is also necessary for living in accordance with Allah's commands and maintaining one's devotion to Him. The state of a patient person allows them to be freed from traps through the relief that follows difficulties. Therefore, patience is not only a path to gaining Allah's love but also a means to attain spiritual tranquility.
