Muraqabah
"Muraqabah is the practice of engaging the heart and mind with Allah, confronting oneself and Him."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Muraqabah means developing an inner awareness to draw closer to Allah in Sufism and Islam. This practice helps an individual focus their heart and mind on Allah, reflecting on His greatness and power. Muraqabah is particularly regarded as a spiritual stage within the Sufi tradition and is practiced according to the guidance of spiritual mentors. During Muraqabah, individuals turn inward; they observe the desires and thoughts of their ego.
