Pride

Pride is regarded as one of the greatest sins in Islamic ethics. This concept, frequently mentioned in the Quran and Hadith, is defined as a disease that negatively affects a person's spiritual and social life. Pride arises from a person's perception of themselves as superior to others, and this mentality disrupts social harmony. A proud individual may not show respect to others, which hinders spiritual development. Muslims should embrace humility and show respect to others by staying away from pride. Pride is not only an individual ailment but also a condition that can lead to significant problems in society.
