Brotherhood

Brotherhood is one of the cornerstones of the Islamic community and enables Muslims to harbor love and respect for one another. The importance of brotherhood is emphasized in the Quran with the phrase, 'The believers are but brothers' (Al-Hujurat, 10). In this context, the significance of values such as mutual assistance, solidarity, and social justice among Muslims is immense. The understanding of brotherhood envisions embracing all humanity without regard to religious or sectarian differences. Throughout Islamic history, many companions have reflected these values in their lives and have been exemplary in their commitments to one another. Brotherhood also plays a significant role in ensuring social peace and harmony.
