Knowledge is one of the most important concepts in Islamic thought. It can be divided into scientific and religious knowledge. Knowledge is a product of man's effort to understand the universe, his own existence, and Allah. The question 'Do you know?' posed in the Quran emphasizes the importance of knowledge. The Islamic sciences that are foremost include Hadith, Fiqh, Kalam, and Sufism. For a believer, learning knowledge is considered obligatory. Knowledge encompasses not only theory but also practice; therefore, when knowledge is combined with reason, wisdom, and insight, true knowledge is attained.
