Ikhlas

Ikhlas is an important concept in Islam, especially in Sufism. This term expresses the act of doing something sincerely and genuinely for Allah alone. Ikhlas is directly related to the purity and clarity of intention in one's heart, particularly in acts of worship. In Sufi literature, being sincere is regarded as a fundamental element that determines a believer's elevation and spiritual development. The hadith of our Prophet (peace be upon him), 'Actions are judged by intentions,' emphasizes the importance of this matter. While Ikhlas helps an individual progress in spiritual life, it also reminds us of the importance of sincerity and right intentions in social relationships.
