Ikhlas

Ikhlas is an important term that expresses sincerity in Sufism and Islam. The value of the actions of a traveler on the Sufi path is based on the understanding of Ikhlas. This signifies that the intention in one's heart is directed solely towards seeking Allah's pleasure. True Ikhlas means an act of worship that is free from ostentation and comes from the heart.
