Ikhlas
"Ikhlas is sincere intention and essence in an action or worship. In Islam, it expresses that every action should be solely for the pleasure of Allah."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Ikhlas, in Islamic terminology, is the expression of turning towards Allah and dedicating all deeds to Him. In Sufism, Ikhlas is considered as the heart's exclusive orientation towards Allah, excluding all other intentions. A person with Ikhlas performs their deeds solely for the pleasure of Allah, thereby gaining spiritual depth. During Sufi training, guides frequently emphasize Ikhlas because the simplicity in the heart has impressive results in terms of closeness to Allah and obedience. When combined with other virtues, Ikhlas lays a strong foundation for a believer's spiritual journey.
