Spiritual & Deep Meaning
In Islam, guidance refers to the ability to find the truth and walk on the right path as granted by Allah to those whom He wills. Guidance encompasses not only acquiring knowledge but also the will to implement that knowledge in life. In Sufism, guidance can be defined as an energy revolving around the guide (murshid). The murshid supports and directs the disciple (murid) in progressing on the path of guidance. Guidance is a prerequisite for the spiritual growth and development of a person, and when sincerely sought, it will come to the individual as a grace from Allah.
