Translation (EN)
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah. He is the Almighty, the Wise. It is He who expelled the disbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah. But Allah's punishment came upon them from where they did not expect, and He cast terror into their hearts, so they were destroying their own houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers. O people of understanding! Take a lesson. If Allah had not decreed for them to be expelled, He would have punished them in this world. In the Hereafter, they will have the punishment of the Fire. This is due to their disobedience to Allah and His Messenger. Whoever disobeys Allah, let him know that Allah's punishment is indeed severe. It is by the permission of Allah that you may cut down the palm trees of the disbelievers among the People of the Book or leave them standing on their trunks. And Allah humiliates the deviators in this way. O believers! You did not ride on any horse or camel for the things Allah has given to His Messenger from their properties; but Allah gives authority to His messengers over whom He wills. And Allah is All-Powerful. The spoils that Allah has given to His Messenger from the properties of the people of the conquered lands are for Allah, the Messenger, the relatives, the orphans, the needy, and the wayfarers; so that it does not circulate among the rich among you. Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatever he forbids you, refrain from it; and fear Allah; indeed, Allah's punishment is severe. The spoils that Allah has given are especially for the poor emigrants who have been expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking Allah's bounty and pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger. They are the truly righteous. And those who have settled in Medina and have firmly established faith in their hearts love those who have emigrated to them; they do not find in their hearts any need for what they have been given, even if they themselves are in need; they prefer them over themselves, even if they are in poverty. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul, it is they who will be the successful ones. And those who come after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith; and do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord! Indeed, You are Kind and Merciful." Have you not seen the hypocrites saying to their disbelieving brothers among the People of the Book: "If you are expelled, we will surely go out with you; and we will never obey anyone against you; and if you are fought against, we will surely help you"? And Allah bears witness that they are indeed liars. If they are expelled, they will not go out with them; and if they are fought against, they will not help them. And if they do help them, they will surely turn their backs and flee; then they will not be aided. O believers! You are more fearful in their chests than they are of you; that is because they are a people who do not understand. They will only fight you from behind walls or from within fortified cities. Their infighting is severe; you think they are united, but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend. Their situation is like that of those who have tasted the consequence of their deeds before them; they will have a painful punishment. The situation of the hypocrites is like that of the devil when he says to man: "Disbelieve!" And when he disbelieves, he says: "Indeed, I am free of you; indeed, I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds." The end of both of them is the Fire, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the recompense of the wrongdoers. O believers! Fear Allah; and let every soul look to what it has brought forth for tomorrow. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do. And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. It is they who are the defiantly disobedient. The companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise are not equal. The companions of Paradise, they are the successful ones. If We had sent down the Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and crumbling from fear of Allah. And We present these examples to the people that perhaps they will give thought. He is the All-Knowing of the unseen and the seen; there is no deity except Him. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. He is the Sovereign, the Most Holy; the Source of Peace, the Granter of Security, the Guardian, the Mighty, the Compeller, the Exalted. Allah is free from what they associate with Him. He is the Creator, the Fashioner, the Bestower of Names; the most beautiful names belong to Him. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him. He is the Almighty, the Wise.
