Soul
"The soul is a spiritual entity that connects people to life, originating from Allah."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
In Islamic belief, the soul is the spiritual entity that exists within every human body and gives it life. It is stated in the Qur'an that the soul is breathed into by Allah and constitutes the most sacred aspect of life. The soul is necessary for the body to function healthily and cannot exist without the body. According to Islam, the soul is immortal and continues to exist in the afterlife after separating from the body. In Sufism, the soul plays an important role in a person's spiritual journey; spiritual development involves the process of finding oneself and drawing closer to Allah. In this context, the education and development of the soul is one of the fundamental goals of Sufism.
