Hypocrisy
"Hypocrisy refers to creating a contradiction between belief and reality through duplicity."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Hypocrisy is a term that expresses duplicity. This concept describes a person who behaves like a Muslim outwardly while harboring doubts or disbelief in their faith internally. Islam categorically rejects hypocrisy, and this attitude can lead to dangerous consequences for both individuals and society. In Sufism, hypocrisy is one of the greatest dangers that need to be cleansed from the heart. A Sufi must question the sincerity of their intentions and actions to achieve inner peace. Hypocrisy serves as a spiritual barrier for the individual and weakens their bond with Allah.
