Brotherhood

Brotherhood is one of the cornerstones of the Islamic community and enables Muslims to harbor love and respect for one another. In the Holy Quran, the importance of brotherhood is emphasized with the statement, 'The believers are but brothers' (Al-Hujurat, 10). In this context, the significance of values such as helping one another, solidarity, and social justice among Muslims is immense. The understanding of brotherhood envisions embracing all humanity, regardless of religious or sectarian differences. Throughout Islamic history, many companions have reflected these values in their lives and have become examples through their attachment to one another. Brotherhood also plays an important role in establishing social peace and harmony.
