I'tikaf
"I'tikaf is the act of remaining alone in the mosque for a specific period for the purpose of worship. It enables a person's spiritual deepening."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
I'tikaf is a practice in Islam where one stays in the mosque for a certain period to worship and distance oneself from the world. It is generally preferred during the month of Ramadan, but it can also be performed at other times of the year. During the I'tikaf period, a person turns away from daily life and focuses solely on worship and contemplation. This process allows the individual to deepen spiritually and feel closer to Allah. I'tikaf is a type of worship derived from the Qur'an and Sunnah. Muslims who perform this act spiritually renew themselves while also strengthening their commitment to Allah.
