Jihad
"Jihad refers to the efforts expended to struggle in the path of Allah, to spread and defend the faith."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Jihad encompasses every form of struggle undertaken to protect and propagate Islam. This struggle can be a physical war or can be carried out through knowledge and education. In Islamic history, jihad aims for both defense and propagation. However, the most important aspect of jihad is the individual's inner struggle. This struggle with the self is viewed as a fundamental necessity for personal development and to become closer to Allah. The spirit of jihad is built upon justice, peace, and love; therefore, jihad is not limited to armed struggle.
