Islamic Parables - Generosity, Charity and the Repulsion of Calamities

A Story of Generosity that Gives Hope to Those in Debt

"Do you feel crushed under the burden of debt in your life? Generosity is not just a wealthy heart; it is also extending a hand to those in distress. This story illustrates how helping others in difficult times can be a great display of love and compassion between a creditor and a benefactor. Remember, when you help others, you heal both them and yourself. Sharing in these times lightens your burdens and brings a fresh breath to your soul."

In a city, a very wealthy and generous man encountered a poor person by the roadside. The poor man's stomach was empty, and his clothes were torn. The generous wealthy man decided to help him. He gave the money he had brought with him to the poor man. The poor man was very grateful for this kindness. However, the wealthy man also noticed the deep sorrow in the poor man's eyes. The generous man said to the poor man: "Accept this money, but promise me one thing. Do not be sad because you have to live this life; you too can be generous one day. If such an opportunity arises, help others in the same way!" As time passed, the poor man found a job and managed to organize his life with the money he earned. Over time, after the misfortunes passed, he too became wealthy. One day, when they met again, the former wealthy man gave a sum of money to the poor man to remind him of his generosity. The poor man was very happy for the help he had received, and this event stayed in his mind for several days. He realized once again the importance of giving and began to strive to help those in need by extending a hand to people. Thus, another story of generosity opened the door to a brighter future.
