Tariqa
"Tariqa is a community that provides spiritual education under the leadership of a Murshid on the path of Sufism."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Tariqa refers to communities that come together with the aim of living and sustaining the commandments and prohibitions of religion. As a Sufi term, it represents an understanding where disciples gather around a Murshid, receive spiritual education, and learn the subtleties of Sufism. Each Tariqa varies within the framework of the rituals, practices, and educational methods taught by its own Murshid. Tariqas are often intertwined with concepts such as destination, silsila, and method. Saliks aim to spiritually ascend, develop themselves, and become closer to Allah within these communities.
