Seyr-i Süluk

Seyr-i Süluk expresses a spiritual journey undertaken under the guidance of a murshid in Sufism. This process aims for the purification of the soul, self-discovery, and drawing closer to Allah. Seyr-i Süluk generally occurs in five stages, each of which is critically important for the individual's progress. These stages include training the ego, achieving heart purity, and ultimately reaching divine love. Participants advance in this journey through dhikr, fasting, and other acts of worship.
