"Sahih expresses that Islamic knowledge is reliable, solid, and correct. It determines the authenticity of Hadiths."
Spiritual & Deep Meaning
Sahih means reliable and correct information in Islam. Especially in the sciences of Hadith, sahih Hadiths are of great importance for accurately conveying the words and actions of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Sahih Hadiths contribute to the correct teaching and application of religious knowledge in society. Islamic scholars have developed various criteria to determine whether Hadiths are sahih or not. These criteria include the reliability of the chain of narration and the accuracy of the text. The term sahih is generally an important reference point guiding Muslims in acquiring religious knowledge. Thus, the religious beliefs of communities acting with sahih information are strengthened.
