Riza

Riza is defined in Sufism as a state of complete surrender and contentment towards Allah. For Muslims, riza begins with accepting Allah’s choices in every aspect of life. This state brings peace to the individual’s life while also providing spiritual satisfaction. In Sufism, reaching the rank of riza requires the individual to discipline their ego and turn towards Allah. Riza facilitates the spiritual journey of individuals; thus, a person can overcome the challenges they face more easily. Riza is one of the fundamental principles of Islam and also expresses the spiritual responsibilities of individuals.
