Kufr

Kufr means disbelief in Islam and expresses attitudes that oppose Allah and His prophets. This concept encompasses not only disbelief but also outright opposition to Islam. Kufr can spiritually affect individuals, disrupt social harmony, and lead to a deviation from moral values. In Sufism, kufr signifies the darkening of the soul and spiritual degradation. The guide (murshid) strives to keep the disciple (murid) away from such attitudes, attempting to show them the path of true faith and submission.
