"We sent Noah to his people before a painful punishment came upon them, and he said: 'O my people! Indeed, I am to you a clear warner.' 'Worship Allah; fear Him and obey me, so that He may forgive you your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, when the term of Allah comes, it cannot be delayed; if only you knew!' 'Worship Allah; fear Him and obey me, so that He may forgive you your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, when the term of Allah comes, it cannot be delayed; if only you knew!' Noah said: 'My Lord! Indeed, I have called my people night and day.' 'But my calling only increased their aversion.' 'Indeed, whenever I called them to You, to seek Your forgiveness, they thrust their fingers into their ears and covered themselves with their garments and persisted in arrogance.' 'Then indeed, I called them aloud.' 'Then I announced to them in public and spoke to them in secret.' I said: 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord; indeed, He is the Forgiving.' 'He will send rain from the sky upon you in abundance.' I said: 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord; indeed, He is the Forgiving.' 'He will send rain from the sky upon you in abundance.' 'And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and rivers.' 'What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur?' 'While He has created you in stages?' 'Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens in layers?' 'And made the moon therein a light and made the sun a burning lamp?' 'And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth like a plant?' 'Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction.' 'And Allah has made for you the earth a bed and made for you pathways therein and sent down from the heaven rain and produced thereby fruits for you as provision, so do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].' Noah said: 'My Lord! Indeed, they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss; and they have conspired an immense conspiracy.' Noah said: 'My Lord! Indeed, they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss; and they have conspired an immense conspiracy.' They said to one another: 'Do not leave your gods, and do not leave Wadd or Suwa or Ya'ghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.' 'And they have already misled many. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in error.' They were drowned in their transgressions and were cast into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah any helpers. Noah said: 'My Lord! Leave not upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant.' 'Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except for immoral disbelievers.' 'My Lord! Forgive me and my mother and my father and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.'
