Islamic Parables - Rights of Parents, Stories on Kindness and Earning Their Pleasure

The Story That Cures Impatience

Once upon a time, on a hot and sunny summer day, there lived a boy named Ali in a small village. His father was the best farmer in the village and always brought prosperity to their home. However, when a difficult harvest time came, Ali did everything he could to help his father. He began to work diligently to provide for his family's livelihood. One day, his father said to Ali, 'My son, I forgot to water the field, it is up to you to fix the situation.' Without delay, Ali set out, but before going to the field, he completed the unfinished tasks for his mother. After fulfilling the water needs, he started working with his father for the harvest. However, he soon realized that his father looked tired and exhausted. Ali decided to support his father not only in work but also spiritually. As his father saw Ali's behavior, his eyes filled with tears. Every evening, Ali raised his father's spirits by telling him hopeful stories, spending quality time together, and strengthening family bonds. As days passed, Ali's kindness and the compassion he showed to his father nourished both of their souls. Finally, when the harvest season arrived, their farm was filled with abundance. As Ali and his father rediscovered their love for each other, everyone realized that Ali was the son with a golden heart.
