The Wisdom Sayings and Counsel of Kadirî Sadık Efendi

Kadirî Sadık Efendi was a prominent Sufi scholar of the Ottoman Empire and recognized as a sheikh of religion. He was born in Istanbul and received his education there. His deep interest in Sufi discipline led him to become the leader of a different order. By deeply learning Islamic sciences, he developed a personality that was both educational and practical. As one of the significant figures of the Kadirî order, he trained many disciples and contributed to the spread of the order. He also left a mark on the Islamic community with the works he wrote on jurisprudence and Sufism. Known as Zadeh-i İslam, Kadirî Sadık Efendi emphasized the multitude of paths to Allah and endeavored to instill an understanding of religion centered on tolerance and love.
