The Wise Words and Profound Counsel of Imam Junayd

Junayd was a scholar who lived in Baghdad in the 9th century and played a significant role in formalizing Sufism. He conducted studies on the depth of the concept of 'ma'rifah' in the Sufi journey and often used allegorical expressions to describe his deep spiritual experiences. Referred to as 'the chief of the Sufis', Junayd contributed to the education of many students and the spread of Sufism. He blended both the academic and practical aspects of Sufism, paving the way for the formation of orders with his unique interpretations.
